I’m a true believer in contrast. I believe in eye catching distinction and strikingly strong differences. A very wise lady once told me that she tends to see the similarity of things in life. I must say, I am definitely her parallel opposite. I could never imagine myself seeing the world this way, for then everything would start to look alike. I rather see the variety and diversity in people. We can’t love something based on similarities alone. To truly love something, or someone, the hardest part is learning to love the divergence of it. You must love everything that is, and all that you aren’t.
