onehundredeightyfive.

Do you remember those times when you were a kid and you believed that you could fly, so you jumped off things, flapping your arms, willing yourself to take off just like the birds do overhead? And when you fell, you never once lost courage, but instead just looked for something else to jump off of? What happened to that dedication to our dreams? I think that we have too easily resigned to these ordinary lives of ours, we've too quickly rationalized our dreams, figuring out why they won't work and making up excuses. I mean really, when was the last time you did something completely daring? When was the last time you stuck to one of your fancy dreams you'd concocted? Where has our blind courage in ourselves gone, and when did we let our dreams become just that, dreams, and nothing more?
Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage.
