No political rationale, no more taking sides, and certainly no more pointing fingers. I've come to the realization that regardless of who did what, war is simply immoral, wicked, depraved. Sure, one can argue that it's necessary sometimes--I simply don't care anymore. I won’t fight back, that is against my ethics. It’s absolutely not worth the fight, the waste of breath, whatever happens, was bound to happen one way or another, so just let it go. I realized that somewhere between the optimism and the pessimism, the idealism and the realism, the left and the right and the black and the white, there's hope that our existence will amount to something more than a feud over lines drawn in the sand. I absolutely don’t expect you to understand this, but in other words, I know we will get through this (:
