Life is an irony of its own

thirtynine.
It’s ironic how people are so blind. It’s so difficult to see what’s really in front of you. It takes us so much to actually notice the obvious. Why you may ask? Could it possibly be that if we do realize it, we think it’s much too easy for it to be the correct answer? Therefore we leave it be, ignore it, and continue to move on to something else, something more significant. But what we don’t know is, what we really need was right under our noses all along. We have all heard it, over a million times at the least. Yes, let me be the one to say it’s such a cliche. You really don’t know what you have until it’s gone. We are given this warning, this simple yet truly wise set of words to help us, given by many of the people we love and care for, yet we continue to ignore that also. It’s just until that something we need, becomes so far from our reach. At this point, this exact moment, we realize how much we want it, how much we need it. It’s just the irony of it all, but it’s unavoidably true. We are all much too farsighted. We cannot view what is close to us, what is already there for us, what is right under our nose, at least not until it is too far to reach anymore. I am one of the exceptions to this irony, and I’m glad I noticed you before you were too far out of my reach. I love you <3
